Arthur Richmond, BBC Miniseries

In the novel And Then There Were None, Arthur Richmond was a soldier and a friend of General Macarthur. He had an affair with Leslie Macarthur. When her husband found out, he sent Richmond to a reconnaissance mission to the Western Front, for a certain death. In the 2015 And Then There Were None miniseries, he was shot in the back instead of being sent to death.

He was one year younger than Leslie.

The way in which Arthur Richmond is killed is similar to the fate of Uriah the Hittite in the Book of Samuel.
