In the novel And Then There Were None, Arthur Richmond was a soldier and a friend of General Macarthur. He had an affair with Leslie Macarthur. When her husband found out, he sent Richmond to a reconnaissance mission to the Western Front, for a certain death. In the 2015 And Then There Were None miniseries, he was shot in the back instead of being sent to death.
He was one year younger than Leslie.
