In the novel Postern of Fate, Angus Crispin is posing as a gardener for Tommy and Tuppence Beresford. In reality he is a member of British intelligence, sent to Hollowquay to watch over the Beresfords. He recognises Miss Mullins as someone called “Dodo”.
