Didier Vinson as André Delavallée
In Pourquoi pas Martin?, the French adaptation of Why Didn't They Ask Evans?, André Delavallée is Roland's elder brother, and Suzanne's husband. André also has a son, Frédéric. Roland (Roger Bassington-ffrench) made him a morphine addict hoping that André didn't recover. If this happened, his large inheritance would pass to his brother. André is the somewhat loose parallel of Henry Bassington-ffrench. Unlike Henry, he isn't shot by Roger but he is framed and claimed insane, thus he wouldn't have been considered as a valid witness.
