In the stage play Go Back for Murder, Alderbury was the home of Amyas and Caroline Crale. After the death of the Crales, Meredith Blake bought the house and part of the furniture. Parts of the estate was turned into a hostel and other parts were preserved as they were.
Carla Le Marchant invited the five people that were present at the time when her father was poisoned, to Alderbury.
Alderbury is also the name of the house in the novel Five Little Pigs, on which the stage play is based.
