In the novel The Mystery of the Blue Train, Albert Dykes is a boy living in St. Mary Mead in Kent. Albert sings in the boys choir. Miss Viner thought that he shouldn't be allowed to attend the choirboy's picnic. Miss Viner says that she does not know what Albert thinks he is doing in church on Sundays, and that on one occasion, Albert was sucking a mint humbug.
