In the novel Death in the Clouds, Albert Davis is the second steward on board the Prometheus during the flight when Madame Giselle died, along with Henry Mitchell. He resides at 23 Barcome Street, Croydon. He is courting a young lady, Old Johnson's daughter, who works at the Crown and Feathers.

When Poirot asks if anything was disarranged on Madame Giselle's table, Albert says that there were two coffee spoons in Madame Giselle's saucer. Poirot considers this an important clue.

Portrayals[]

Davis does not appear in the ITV TV adaptation of the novel. Here the two stewards are Henry Mitchell and Jane Grey, who was a passenger in the original story. In this adaptation, the clue of the two coffee spoons was given by Mitchell.
