Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The London Case is a video/computer game created by Blazing Griffin first released on 23 Aug 2023 for multiple platforms and on Steam. This game is a sequel to the earlier Blazing Griffin game Hercule Poirot: The First Cases which was released in 2021. Like the first game, this game has a wholly original plot which is not based on any of Christie's stories. Like the first game, it is still set around the time Poirot is in the Belgian police force before the First World War. This game also introduces Arthur Hastings who teams up with Poirot. As in The First Cases, the main game mechanic is that of "mind maps". Mind maps indicate a chain of thought or a line of enquiry, which are gradually filled in or diverge based on items found or conversations with people.
Synopsis[]
Hercule Poirot works with Lloyd's of London to ensure the transportation, protection, and sale of a valuable painting of Mary Magdalene from Brussels to London. The painting is to be the centerpiece of a new exhibit at a London Museum, featuring other works of ecclesiastical art on loan from Brussels. He meets Arthur Hastings, an employee of Lloyd'd of London who will be his partner in the entire operation.
However, despite all the security measures taken, the painting is stolen from right under everybody's noses during a Preview Gala exhibition. Poirot and Hastings must work together to recover the missing work of art.
