Foreign language adaptations of Agatha Christie have been prolific and highly successful. In many cases, not only the language is changed, but also the geographical, chronological and cultural setting, often with a great deal of success.

Graphic novels[]
In the 1990s, French publisher Éditions Claude Lefranc began to issue a series of graphic novel adaptations in French. After 2000, more titles were added by Éditions Emmanuel Proust, making a total of 24 titles in all. From 2007 Eurocomics India working with HarperCollins released English translations of these adaptations with different covers for 21 of these titles.
From 2017 onwards, Swiss publisher Paquet began to issue another series of graphic novel adaptations in French. These include not only stories featuring Poirot, Miss Marple and Tommy and Tuppence but also some of Agatha Christie's stand-alone novels.
Chimunīzu-kan no himitsu is the title of a Japanese manga album published in 2006. The album contains manga adaptations in Japanese of The Secret of Chimneys, Sparkling Cyanide and Towards Zero.
Aozametauma is the title of a Japanese manga in 2 volumes published in 2017. The album is a manga adaptation of The Pale Horse
Stage adaptations[]
- 2023 Mord im Orientexpress a puppet theatre based on the Ken Ludwig adaptation of the novel Murder on the Orient Express. Performed the Puppentheater in Halle, Germany.[2]

In 2004 the Japanese broadcasting company Nippon Hōsō Kyōkai turned Poirot and Marple into animated characters in the anime series Agatha Christie's Great Detectives Poirot and Marple, introducing Mabel West (daughter of Miss Marple's mystery-writer nephew Raymond West, a canonical Christie character) and her duck Oliver as new characters.
