In the novel Sparkling Cyanide, 15 Merryvale Court, Maida Vale is the home address of actress Chloe West. Neither Chief Inspector Kemp nor Colonel Race actually went there--Kemp interviewed Chloe when she came to Scotland Yard asking the see the person in charge of the investigation. Merryvale is only mentioned when Kemp asks for her address at the start of the interview.
